An ICD-10-CM Manual Annotation Technique

TAP™ is an annotation technique for the ICD-10-CM manual.  TAP is the Acronym for Tab your manual, Annotate the Guideline, and Place an indicator (to remind you there is an associated guideline.  TAP was created in 2015.  It is the first published ICD-10-CM published annotation technique, and is responsible for many students passing the medical coding exams.
